Q. Is this free?

A. Absolutely. It's free to listen to music and to upload music.

Q. How often does new music appear on the site?

A. The new batch of music appears every night while you sleep (6am Greenwich time, to be exact).

Q. Why can I only upload 1 song per day?

A. Our goal is quality over quantity. We found that limiting uploads to one song per day makes people really think about the music they are uploading and only post the best songs that they can think of. However, you can upload up to six songs for the next six days and they will be published automatically.

Q. What are followers? Why does it say that I'm following a channel?

A. Music from the channels you are following will appear in your podcast and your river. We automatically add the channels from which you like the most songs to your following list. You can override that by clicking the Follow/Unfollow button next to a channel. Conversely, followers are the people that listen to you channel often.

Q. Can I listen to my music when I am not on my computer?

A. Yes! Every user has has a personalized daily podcast with the music that you have told us they like. It works with any MP3 player (software installation may be required) and some smartphones, and can be uploaded to your player automatically. You can listen to your own podcast or you can even find a user with good taste and listen to theirs.

Q. Can I upload my own music?

A. Yes, that's what the buzz is about! Once you register as a Feel Gooder you will have your own channel where you can share your favourite music.

Q. I am an artist. Can I open my own Feel Good channel?

A. Yes, you would be most welcome. Give us a shout after you do, as we have some special perks coming up for artists.

Q. Is this legal?

A. To keep things legal, you are not allowed to upload content without the express permission of the copyright holder. Illegal content may be deleted without warning.

Our intention is to help popularize new and forgotten artists. Please support them by buying their music or attending their concerts.

Q. My music or art is uploaded on this site without permission. Can you remove it?

A. Yes, please see our copyright policy for more information.

Q. When is the best time to listen to The Feel Good?

A. Whenever you feel like good music! We listen to the new music during breakfast, and listen to our personalized podcasts on our commute.
