Didn't get a chance to comment on this earlier - and this time you beat me to posting it. And it's great music. Great music. And a voice to remember. I pick her over he daddy.
Curiously, I just found out about the Two Suns Special Edition album today - that's 8 more tracks, five of which I have not heard before. It does not get any more exciting than this on a slow, snowy music Monday.
I am not sure if I am feeling the first part of that but after finally getting there to hear the second piece, I love how the piano veers from a simplistic, beautiful piece to something similar but with a pinch of urgency and fear thrown in.
I'm glad you guys like it. It's quite a favourite ot mine too, though i just found it on my PC a couple of days ago. Turns out i've always had it, but never heard it before - last one on an album with 22 tracks, guess i never went that far with the album. =)
Вики, ей сега ще ти го изпратя ;)
Nicely timed from where I'm perched as I sneaked a few of his into my weekend playlist and was of a mind to upload say Augustine or one of his Kate Bush covers these days.
След цял ден говорене и слушане на унгарски ме довършихте тотално с тези свръхинтелектуални коментари.
Иначе парчето е готино. Едно от най-любимите ми май =)
Individual Aussies take great pride in what they've got going down under, aye, and it's also true they have something special to offer in every kind of artistic endeavour (as well as poker!). However it is frustratingly and inexplicably hard to get a hold of a lot of Aussie artists - be it youtube, iTunes, other digital cd dealers or a pirate website.
As with every decent conspiracy theory, the government must be involved, grubby little fingers in the cookie dough of music and shunning western decadence and american morality.

you have just concocted a new conspiracy theory and got the pr concept reversed?! hehe. the aussies i've met have rarely been the "hush-keep-it-quiet" type of people. They have a whole continent to themselves, which i would guess makes them pretty self-sufficient.
I had not heard of this bloke until today but it is not surprising...
My own experience over the last couple of months makes a strong case that Down Under have instituted a secret breeding program for great musical acts and Aussies keep 'em on the down-low, with limited international exposure.
I did know, actually - it's the album version of the song. And sometimes i really enjoy it more than the single version (this one). But when i uploaded this i was enjoying the violins and the more complex instrumentation. Though the other one is a favourite too!
There's a mellowed out, less 'orchestral' version of Daniel, which, you could say, emphasizes the vocal. It's from the same BBC Live Lounge session, in which she recorded the Kings of Leon cover.
That - in case you didn't already know.
