(comment now!)One way you can recognize a really good album is when people disagree one which is the best song. I have 5 people that I gave this CD, everybody loved it and everybody had a different favorite. This is Sandra's favorite from Daft Punk - Alive 2007. (comment now!)
While I am on the wave of jazz, here is another piece straight from Manhattan, 1958. I hate to say it but I heard this one in Music Class…
(comment now!)Rarely can a song tell a story straight, without resorting to wild symbols and metaphors, and still make it exciting. This one not only has a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ode_to_Billie_Joe">famous and twistful story, but also great soulful music that plays quite nicely to the plot line.
PS I first heard this track in http://www.newmixes.com/david_holmes-essential_mix-sat-06-15-1997.html">David Holmes' 1997 Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1, which is quite the masterpiece for soul music lovers.

This one comes from an unlikely source - a bunch of upperclassmen from my high school. Their band was quite the hot thing when I was a junior and a senior. They even released an album (Garden Party), but unfortunately the band members spread around the world and nothing has been recorded after 2003. Here's hoping for a 2013 Outbreak reunion!
(comment now!)I don't know what Pepe was on about, as NTM's song is in English, but here's a nice vraiment française gem, as suggested by Moroccan carpenter S. R. The song's good fun, but check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bybKftoefsw">the clip. There's a dancing hair dryer. I don't get it.

(comment now!)Welcome to The Feel Good Initiative! For starters, here's a namesake song. A cover by Skye Edwards, Morcheeba's ex-lead.
