An old favourite. At first it didn\'t click, listened to it a couple of times because the player was on shuffle. And after a while I found myself longing for a certain tune. I think it\'s because of the inflections of the voice ... or... (comment now!)
It was a close match between this track and Brandy Alexander from the same album. (comment now!)
From her oddly-named album \"I Know You\'re Married But I\'ve Got Feelings Too\" of 2008. The album is mostly made of straight-froward pop songs with folk influences here and there. I\'m not particularly enthralled by the album itself but this song caught my ear. I think it\'s because the particularly melodic refrain. (1 comment)
Let the dashboard underscore
Everything we've seen
While the world plays for our pleasure

I've been listening to nothing but Calexico for the last 3 days. It's that good. The album (Carried to Dust) has a somewhat anachronistic sound in my opinion. Despite that it doesn't feel "old". I think nostalgic is a more appropriate description for the atmosphere it creates. (comment now!)
For when you really don't want to go to work. (comment now!)
i used to listen to gang bang when reading comics because the music wasn't really distracting. this song however broke my concentration every time. (comment now!)
There are some passages on this song that remind me of Explosions in the Sky but the overall sound is very different. I guess it falls under prog-rock. aaah.. sweet prog memories (comment now!)
They launched a new album a couple of days ago. This is the first song. (comment now!)
My favourite song from The Slip (Trent Reznor's latest album, free to download) (comment now!)
Kind of post-rock...reminds me a little of Sigur Ros (the early days)... but more instrumental and less distracting. My music of choice for reading. (comment now!)
shogaze again... I just love The Radio Dept. ... dream music (comment now!)
She has such a deep beautiful voice (comment now!)
From 69 Love Songs... (comment now!)
Mogwai will release their new album The Hawk Is Howling in September. This instrumental song is from their 2006 release Mr Beast. (comment now!)
I'm not a big Death Cab For Cutie fan but this song is nice, the best from their latest release Narrow Stairs (2008) (comment now!)
Mixing some shoegaze and dream pop, this is the sweetest break-up song I've ever heard... (comment now!)
yeah.. the one from the Watchmen trailer... it's a good song (comment now!)
wanted to post this some time ago but the upload didn't work... so here it is... no description... two weeks later (comment now!)
French band... really good... can't believe how good they are... a little on the crazy side... but WOW (comment now!)
Mix of Hip-Hop and electronic elements; and trust me it was hard to come up just with that. They seem to have a genre of their own. Also be sure to check out their more famous Vitriol video. (comment now!)
the song that caught my ear from Tricky's lastest album Knowle West Boy released on July 7, 2008 (comment now!)
Crazy sweedish electro/synth-pop . You can listen to the whole album here http://ancameme.tumblr.com/post/42503619/zeigeist-jade-motel (comment now!)
